My experience on the Wheel of Fortune

Hi Lo 13 Blackjack

BlackJack is a great name no matter how you cut the cards. It’s a big favorite anywhere you go, whether you play online or in a real casino. It’s fun and sometimes you get to walk away with some big winnings.

A couple of weeks ago I was playing online at Desert Dollar casino. I played some Roulette and some Video Poker, and even some slots, but the best time I had was playing one of their versions of Blackjack. It’s called Hi Lo 13 Blackjack and I think it’s the best way to up your chances of winning at this already awesome card game. When you put that extra bet down, if you have a good feel for how your luck runs then you can do pretty well on the high or low bet.

So not only did I win my bet, but I won on the Hi bet too! 200 just like that, I’ll take that any day of the week baby. On the next hand I got a 7 and 3, so I lost my Hi bet, but that’s okay. I doubled and got a 7, and I held at 17. The dealer busted with 23! Woohoo! I had put 100 on that hand so now just in one hand I had made 400 back.

I did not get a Blackjack all night long that night, but I was doing so well between regular hands and my Hi Lo bets (I never place the 13 bet I just feel that it is too random for me), that I did not even care! I came out way ahead at the end of my session.

When I was finished playing for the night I headed over to the cashier and chose to withdraw my money. Threw down a hundred on one hand, got a six and seven (bye bye pairs bet, ha ha), and I doubled again. Next card I got was an eight and dealer had to stand with seventeen. Woohoo 21 I win! That one was really sweet!

I had some ups and downs but over the course of the night ended up mostly breaking even. I thought about just leaving the cash in my balance but thought I better withdraw because I had some bills coming up, so I used a Bank Wire to get my money back, and that went smooth as silk as usual. So this one particular day last month I really was looking forward to playing. Girls let me tell you, I can’t resist video poker. I don’t know what it is but once I start playing I lose track of time and before I know it, hours go by! I was feeling pretty hot so I went ahead and deposited some cash into my central Bodog account with eWallet Express (started with $700, though I shouldn’t have played that much I wanted to really have a night of it).

I headed over to Bodog’s Caribbean Stud Poker and got started. The game play is pretty quick and they don’t waste any time, so I didn’t either, ha! I started small though and bet 10 on my first hand and threw a dollar on the progressive jackpot. It’s always worth it to put a buck in that progressive; you never know when you’re going to hit it big. The progressive that night was somewhere around $32,000 so I was hoping I’d have something to surprise Angie with by the end of the night. Anyway, first hand I bet 10 and got nothing but ace high. The dealer had a three showing so I raised since I didn’t have much to lose at that point. The dealer ended up with a pair of nines so I wound up losing, but that’s the chance you take in this game with nothing but an ace all by itself. Onward and upward I hoped.

Next hand I took a little more of a risk; I threw a dollar on the progressive and decided to hit my ante for fifty. This time I actually had something half decent when the cards were dealt. I got two pair – tens and fours. The dealer had a king showing, so he might have been in the game, but with two pair I wasn’t going to fold, right? So I raised, and now I’m in for 150 and I’m sweating it a little. But the cards turn up and he’s got nothing but king high! Not too shabby on two pair and I walked away from that hand a pretty happy man.

The next few hands were not all too exciting. One hand the dealer didn’t qualify in so I just won ante which wasn’t too much because I was getting nervous that my streak was going to run away on me. I was picking up maybe ten here and twenty five there. On one hand though I was up by a couple hundred and decided to bet 150 on one hand, and on that one I actually wound up with a full house, and the dealer didn’t even qualify. THAT was my best hand of the night. I walked away from that table with an extra thousand bucks that night when all was said and done.

I was finished playing and knew I had to stop before it turned on me so I went and withdrew my account funds so I wouldn’t be tempting myself to bet anymore. I used a wire transfer to withdraw and didn’t have any problems with it, and don’t think I ever have at Bodog either. Got my money and Angie was really stoked when I told her what happened. We celebrated big time!

My Roulette experience

Go Go Go! GoCasino Roulette!

I’ve played a few games at GoCasino before and they’ve been fantastic. I had some money in my account, but not a lot so I went ahead and used Neteller to get some more money in there to play with. Started out with a deposit of $750 and I already had 60 bucks in there so I thought I would be good to go for awhile.

GoCasino has European style roulette so rather than play my usual game of Pai-Gow I thought I’d give this a shot to change things up a bit. I’ve got mixed feelings about my decision now, but the game was fun and that’s really the point.

I decided to start out with a tough one – made an inside bet all on 5 (my lucky number) and dropped 100 bucks on that first bet. Probably stupid, but hey it is my lucky number so if any luck was going to hit me it would have to be on that one. Well, it didn’t, I lost that one right off the bat. That convinced me to back off a little, but just a little. I went for 50 bucks on a 4/5 split, but lost that one too. I went to outside bets for awhile after that and stuck with those the rest of the time.

Unfortunately the outside bets didn’t do me much better. I tried a high low on 1 to 18 and I did win on the first one, got some of my money back on that one, but on the next one I tried an outside on red. I dropped 100 on that one and lost it. I was not too pleased at this point, but I was still having fun because I just love the game, so I kept on playing.

I think I tried every combination of outside bets known to mankind, lol. I did get back a few bucks here and there, but lost on most of them. On one spin I won on even and I had been up a little at that point so I had bet 250. That was a nice win. But I whittled it away on my next few bets as I lost each one. Finally I realized it just wasn’t my night to win and stopped when I was down to 300 dollars total balance. I thought I had better cash out before I was tempted to spend the rest!

I used Neteller again to withdraw my money because I have always had good experiences with them, and as usual no problems there. It’s pretty fast to get your money when you’re ready. I’m glad I did a withdrawal on the same night because if I hadn’t I think I probably would have gone back and played the rest. Great game, I will definitely give it another try.

Nice slots playing at Rushmore!

Okay, so I am a total sucker for ocean themed anything. When I saw the white sand beaches and pretty blue water of the Crystal Waters slot game at RushmoreCasino.com, it was time to play, baby. I started out playing all the lines – you can play up to 20 at once. I figure that if you’re going to win big that is the way to go. It costs $5 per line so that is $100 per spin, but I had a nice bank starting out from the bonus and so I went for it.

At first, I was winning BIG. I was hitting yacht combos all over the place, and a couple of times I got random dolphins (they can show up on just a couple of the reels but they change the multiplier and up your winnings really nicely). At one point I had gotten up to over 3000 dollars in my total bank, mostly from smaller wins just adding up. I started to lose though, guess the winning streak was over!

Was lucky playing BJ!

The other day I was dying to play a good few hands of blackjack. I had some cash to burn and 32Red was in the back of my mind because I remembered a good time there before. I went to the site and European Blackjack jumped out at me right away. It’s a straight forward version of blackjack that I really like. I didn’t have any money in my account at the time so I went ahead and deposited £300 through Paypal. That instantly hit my account so I was playing in no time at all.

I headed over to European Blackjack, and dude, it looks so good. It’s like being in a real casino; the graphics are so realistic. I started out kind of small, betting 30 on my first hand. The dealer started out right away with an ace showing so I grabbed the insurance, and I am glad that I did because of course he had a blackjack! With the insurance I still won so I was pretty relieved.

Next hand I felt a little more confident so I bet 50 this time. The hand was pretty straight forward. I wound up with an 8 showing to start and asked for a hit. Wound up busting that time though with 24 in the end. Bah! It did not stop me from playing again though.

I kept betting 50 on the next hand, I was sure I’d hit a good streak. This time I wound up with a ten of hearts and a ten of spades so I split them, putting 50 on each. I could not believe the luck I ran into on this one. On the spades I pulled off a full Blackjack, and that pays 3:2, woohoo! I won some nice money on that one. I busted on the other ten but I didn’t care much after getting that Blackjack. The money I won more than made up for the lost split ten.

Next hand I decided I would back off a little, I thought I was starting to push Lady Luck just a little too hard and that she might get fickle on me, ha! So I backed off and bet 30 again. The dealer ended up staying at 17, and though I didn’t get the Blackjack this time, I did beat him with 19, so I got my money doubled anyway, and that is a great thing.

One more hand and I was still in the action with another win when the dealer busted, ha! I got my revenge for my earlier bust. Who was laughing now? Me! I was having a blast by this point, so I played a few more hands. The play went back and forth and I lost some and won some. Overall a good time, and I will definitely play this game again. I had a little cash left so I went back and withdrew it through Paypal again. Using them only takes about 24 hours max to get your money back which is great. I think next time I play I will try some of their other Blackjack games too, 32Red is pretty cool.
