Tens or Better is very much like Jacks or Better, but the lowest paying pair in this case is a pair of tens, and not the pair of Jacks, like in Jacks or Better. Considering this fact, the payout table is also different.
For this game, like for all the others, applying the optimal strategies maximize the winning odds, and the payouts. This way you will be able to improve your results and minimize your loses.
- You should keep high suited cards, for example QS and KS, and discard the rest of your cards, if you don’t have some more attractive combination.
- If you have four high cards, you should keep them all, or you may keep suited ones and discard the rest of them.
- In case you have three high cards, even if they are not suited, you should keep them. You may get straight, or a high pair, or Joker, or three of a kind…
- You should also keep one or two high cards, and discard all the other cards.
